Muskegon Volleyball was unable to come away with a conference win in the conference quad against Fruitport or Kenowa Hills. Fruitport came out hot in set 1 with serving and Muskegon could not get a good pass out of serve receive to run plays. Sets 2 and 3 Muskegon was able to put together good rallies but were unable to finish them for a point. Muskegon showed great improvement from the first meeting against Fruitport this season.

The Lady Reds were unable to close out any sets but played well and had great rallies in set 2 and set 3. Set 1 Kenowa hills held the lead the entire set but set 2 and 3 Muskegon took the led for the most of the set before Kenowa Hills came back to win both sets. This game was full of great rallies from both team but Kenowa Hills took the win. Brionne Crews was relentless at the net setting a new school record of 17 blocks. Ma’kiya Hathorn also had a season game high of 12 digs.

Movement, communication, and teamwork was at its best during both games for Muskegon.
